Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a Indian actress, singer-songwriter, and musician. Her main focus is Tamil as well as Malayalam films. Her acting debut was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam, and her Malayalam debut with Annayum is in the film. Andrea Jeremiah is from an Anglo-Indian origin. She was born to an attorney from the Madras High Court attorney. There is a younger sister who resides in Leuven Belgium as a research assistant. Jeremiah was born in Chennai. He was a student at National Public School. After the completion of his studies, he attended Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to begin studying piano at the age of eight. She was a big enthusiast who aspired to become a psychiatrist. She was part of the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars aged 10. It was this group that shaped her singing and music composition career. She also worked as an actress in her college. Andrea served as president of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her acting career by appearing in Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. She was a part of Shiva in a Leo coffee ad in 2006. She also acted as a character in Podhigai's series. She acted throughout India. She appeared briefly in Kanda Mudhal's final scene (2005). Gautham V. Menon contacted her following the fact that she had performed in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu to appear as a leading female on Pachaikili Muthucharam. The film was an adaptation of the novel by James Siegel Derailed. It featured Andrea portraying Kalyani who is a housewife her husband who is caught in an affair and is targeted by a blackmailer. Andrea was chosen to play Kalyani following Simran Shobana, Tabu and other actors were approached. It was first released in the early part of 2010. In 2011, she accepted to have a supporting role that was released in early 2010. In 2011, she accepted to have a supporting role Venkat Prabhu, who starred in Mankatha. It premiered on August 11, 2011. Annayum Rasoolum, a romantic film made by Rajeeev Rath that was released in 2013, marked the actress's Malayalam debut.
