The singer gained international fame after being featured in the Mexican TV show Rebelde with the character Mia Colucci and for her role as a pop singer in the Latin Grammy Award-winning group RBD. Anahi sold more than 3 million albums throughout her solo career. Anahi began her career in the year 1985, aged two, on the Mexican TV show Chiquilladas. Anahi Giovanna Puente is an Mexican-Spanish girl who was born at Mexico City on May 14 13th, 1983. His father Enrique Puente and her mother Marichelo Portilla are both Spanish. She is the elder sister of the TV star Marichelo Puente, born in 1978. Her older half-sister Diana Puente was also born by her father's marriage to his previous wife.
