Olivia Isabel Rodrigo was born February 20 in 2003. She is an American actor, singer, and producer. She gained recognition in the late 2010s by playing lead roles in the Disney television shows Bizaardvark and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Following her joining Geffen and Interscope Records in 2020, Rodrigo released her debut single "Drivers License", which broke various records and became one of the top-selling songs of 2021, propelling her to fame in the mainstream. The following year, she released songs "Deja Vu" and "Good 4 U", and released her debut solo album Sour (2021), that was a critical and commercial success and received numerous awards, like three Grammy Awards. The documentary Olivia Rodrigo - Driving Home 2 U on Disney+, which chronicles the process of creating Sour and was released in 2022. Rodrigo is the owner of two Billboard Hot 100 number one singles and one Billboard 200 number number-one album. She also has five multi-Platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America. In addition to other recognitions she has also been awarded an American Music Award, seven Billboard Music Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards. Time named Rodrigo the 2021 Entertainer of the Year while Billboard declared her the Woman of 2022. Olivia Isabel Rodrigo is the daughter of Jennifer Rodrigo (school teacher) and Chris Rodrigo (family therapist). She was born in Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murrieta on the 20th of February 2003. She was born in Temecula in California. 7 Rodrigo is Filipino American. Her father is Filipino while her mother has German and Irish roots. [6][9][10]She has stated that her great-grandfather, her paternal grandfather, emigrated from the Philippines as a teenager.
